Ocracoke Island

We took the ferry to Ocracoke Island yesterday. The island was totally awesome. I felt like I was in the Caribbean, or Bermuda, or somewhere not in NC.

There were lots of cute shops, restaurants on the water, and people driving golf carts instead of cars. My favorite part was this little shop with a whole room of stained glass windows. I wanted one so bad. If only I had $300 for a decorative window.

I also freaked out when I heard that there were wild ponies on the island. So awesome, right? We went to their “pony pen” as they called it- pretty lame. They just looked like a couple of regular horses to me.
